We also provide dry-run training in these emergency procedures to all our officers prior, during and after the event. Co-ordination of SafEvents safety and security response plans with those of the external institutions will help to prevent confusion during an emergency situation.
The Emergency, Safety and Security Response Team have the overall responsibility for command and control over any operational emergency situation within the parameter of the event. The team is made of the following:

- MEDICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
- DISASTER MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

- CITY POWER OR ESKOM
- ENVIRONMENTAL FOOD & HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- CITY WATER DEPARTMENT
- PICKITUP/ VENUE CLEANERS
- SAFETY AND SECURITY
- And OTHER RELAVANT ROLE PLAYERS
